My name is Dr. Mirjana Kelava and I am a Licensed Psychologist with a psychotherapy practice in Berkeley, California.
I am an experienced and compassionate psychologist and I work with individual adults who are experiencing a wide range of problems including depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, grief/loss, life transition problems, medical/health and cancer diagnosis/treatment/post-treatment, and self-esteem.
I have a particular interest in Women's Mental Health, including perinatal mood disorders (depression/anxiety during pregnancy and postpartum), parenting and work/home/identity issues, life/role transition (i.e., new parent, empty nest, separation/divorce), relationship problems, health/cancer and food/body/self-esteem issues.
I received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, Alameda, CA (1993) and my B.A. in Psychology from U.C. Berkeley (1987). I have worked in the Bay Area, with diverse client populations and in numerous mental health settings, for over 25 years and have maintained a private practice in Berkeley since 2003.
