Biography
Alex is a mental health and addiction professional with a CADC-III certification in alcohol and drug counseling. He has also started his PsyD in Clinical Psychology at The Wright Institute in Fall 2025, where he plans to pursue a doctoral program to become a clinical psychologist.
Alex has experience facilitating individual and psychoeducational, evidence-based practice groups, including ACT, DBT, and CBT, focused on symptom management and skill-building for individuals of all ages. He has worked with both adolescents and adults in inpatient and intensive outpatient settings.
In his practice, Alex takes a strength-based approach, drawing primarily from person-centered and cognitive-behavioral frameworks. He is passionate about helping clients develop self-regulation skills through techniques such as HeartMath, CBT, ACT, and DBT, empowering them to foster personal growth and change.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending time with family, traveling, hiking, and volunteering in his community.
