Clinical Psychologist

Karrie Lager, Psy.D. is a California licensed clinical psychologist with over 20 years experience providing therapy to children and adults. She specializes in parenting, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy. Dr. Karrie was trained in the parent program SPACE treatment through Yale Child Study Center, and she was trained in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and PC-CARE through UC Davis. As Healthy Focus Psychological Center’s founder and training director, Dr. Karrie oversees Healthy Focus’s PCIT and PC-CARE training and continuing education programs.

For fun, Dr. Karrie enjoys spending time with her family, training her cat, hiking with her dog, writing children’s books, yoga, and arts and crafts.
